Welcome to Toronto, minus 1 bag. Thank you British Airways for deciding that Rachael didn't need her bag and leaving it behind so it could travel tomorrow on the next flight. WTF! It took forever to work out what to do with the paperwork at the service desk and for where they should send the bag. As we were going to Niagara Falls the next day we asked for the bag to go there and Rachael was provided with 35pounds as compensation for the delay. Poor Lisa (my friend who we were staying with in Toronto) had to wait outside for ages while we got sorted and were able to exit. We leave the airport and detour off to a Walmart for some essentialls and quickly determine that 35pounds did not go far.
After another stressful moment, naturally we head off to the pub and 3 beers later and some food everything was much more relaxed.
The time difference between Ireland and Canada was a challenge so off to bed and ready for Niagara.
